Evening of Hope
ALS Evening of Hope

The ALS Evening of Hope is black-tie dinner, dance and auction held annually in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  All event proceeds are exclusively dedicated to ALS research.  Since its inception in 1993, the Evening of Hope has raised over $2.5 million for ALS research being conducted by scientists and researchers across the country.

Thanks to generous sponsors, patrons and donors, the 2008 Evening of Hope netted over $235,000.  All proceeds have been designated to fund a non-embryonic stem cell research project at the Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.  The study is named the "Jeff Kaufman Study"  in honor of Evening of Hope founder Jeff Kaufman, in recognition of his unflagging efforts to raise funds for ALS research.

Save the date!

Plans are underway for the 16th annual ALS Evening of Hope to be held on Friday, March 13, 2009

For more information or if you would like to help with the 2008 Evening of Hope, contact Jan Kaufman or contact the ALS Chapter Office at 262.784.5257.
