Equipment Loan Program

Equipment Loan program for people with ALS

The Chapter maintains an inventory of gently used medical equipment that has been generously donated to the Chapter at four sites in Wisconsin: Milwaukee, Appleton, La Crosse and Eau Claire. These items are available to individuals who have been diagnosed with ALS and are registered Chapter members at no charge. If insurance coverage is available for the item(s), the Chapter will provide guidance in obtaining the item through insurance. A recommendation by an MD or Physical/Occupational Therapist is encouraged prior to the loan of equipment. Although the inventory changes frequently, below is a list of items that are generally available through the Chapter Equipment Loan Program. Inventory may vary between sites. If a piece of equipment is not available at one site, the Chapter will work to ensure the Chapter member obtains the equipment whenever possible. For more information, questions or if you need a specific item not on this list, please contact Robin Stanczyk, Patient Services Coordinator, at (262) 402-8148 or email: robin@alsawi.org.
