Deb Romoren, OTR
Froedtert and The Medical College of WI ALS Clinic Team Occupational Therapist
Deb graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked with various types of patients in a large hospital setting – she worked for 5 years at the VA hospital in Milwaukee and will soon be celebrating her 25th anniversary at Froedtert Hospital. She has 30 years of experience working with people with complex medical issues, trauma, and neurological diagnoses.
Deb has served in the weekly ALS Clinic at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin for the past 6 years and has assisted in its National Certification as part of a multidisciplinary team. She speaks at support groups, the Annual ALS Symposium for PALS and families, and various ALS functions. She has attended the ALS National Conference for the past 4 years.
Deb describes a true passion for working with PALS and families; she feels little things can sometimes make a big difference and she learns as much from them as they do from her.
In her free time, Deb enjoys spending time with family and friends, Brewer’s games, sporting events, traveling, biking, and gardening.
