Step By Step Guides for Walk Registration
Please refer to the step-by-step instructions below to guide you through the registration process or to make a donation to specific walker. Remember, you may also sign up on walk day at our registration tent . Thank you for your support.
The ALS Association is pleased to offer you the ability to register for the Walk to Defeat ALS online. Our website makes it possible for you to not only register for the Walk, but to recruit team members and supporters as well.
Use the simple step-by-step directions to register online for the walk.
Step 1
Go to www.walktodefeat.org
and click on the link for your walk location.
If you already have a username and password, enter them in the Sign in Section located above the Walk Because You Can video Box.
Step 2
Click on the Register Box.
Step 3
Click on the Start a team box
Step 4
Type your team Name.
Select your team type.
Enter your team's fundraising goal.
Click "Next Step".
Step 5
You will be asked to identify yourself as a Walker or Virtual Walker.
You can also edit your individual fundraising goal amount.
Click "Next Step".
Step 6
Provide your preferred contact information.
If you are a new Participant, you will need to create a User Name and Password.
Answer the questions in the Additional Questions Section.
Click "Next Step"
Step 7
Read and click the box to agree to the Walk Waiver.
Click "Next Step"
Step 8
You can register other members ofyour household by typing First and Last names.
Click "Complete Registration" and you will now be the Captain of Your Team.
