The Brian Trinastic Memorial Grant Program was named in memory of Marcia and David Trinastic’s son Brian, who fought ALS for 7 years, after being diagnosed at just 32 years old. It consists of two separate grants:
The Flex Grant Program lets individuals with ALS apply for two $500 grants every 12 months to use toward home and vehicle modifications, assistive devices, communication devices and other approved costs.
The Transportation Grant Program lets them apply for four $250 grants every 12 months to use toward transportation costs for clinic/medical visits, special chapter programs and other approved costs. The Grant Applications are available to download here.

We remain eternally grateful to Marcia and David Trinastic for providing the seed money that started the grant program—raised through their annual Trinastics Fore ALS golf outing. Their love and commitment not only made this program a reality, it serves as a lasting tribute to their beloved son.
If you’re interested in joining the Trinastics by contributing to this wonderful program, please contact Janet Gauger through one of the options listed above.
