Deb Romoren, OTR
Deb graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked with various types of patients in a large hospital setting—she worked for five years at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee. She has been employed at Froedtert Hospital since 1985 and has 35 years plus of experience working with people with complex medical issues, trauma, and neurological diseases.
Deb has served in the weekly ALS Clinic at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin since 2003 and has assisted in its National Certification as part of a multidisciplinary team. She speaks at support groups, conferences, the Annual ALS Symposium for people with ALS and families, and various ALS functions. She has attended the ALS National Conference every year.
Deb describes a true passion for working with people with ALS and families; she feels little things can sometimes make a big difference and she learns as much from them as they do from her.
In her free time, Deb enjoys spending time with family and friends, Brewer’s games, sporting events, traveling, biking, and gardening.
