Last year was Hal's Harley-Davidson's 13th Annual Toast to Hope to benefit the ALSA Wisconsin Chapter. It was a Wild West themed event of swappin’ tall tales, lassoing up a few craft beers and rustling up some tasty local grub from other ALSA Wisconsin partners in the community like Bubb’s BBQ, Quaker Steak & Lube New Berlin, Bel’Gustos, Mr. Picnic, Grebe’s Bakery, Carraba’s Italian Grill and McBob’s. As always, there was great craft beer courtesy of Beer Capitol and new this year, Bloody Mary samples from Sobelmans, wine and cheese samples from Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant and whiskey samples from Heaven Hill Distillery. The Toast to Hope is Hal's biggest fundraiser of the year, and it's not hard to see why.
ALS is a brutal disease that robs patients of all muscle and body control. Eventually every patient diagnosed with ALS loses the ability to walk, eat and even breathe. Despite advances in treatment and therapies, ALS is still fatal. There is no cure. Yet.
Your donations to ALSA Wisconsin directly help ALS patients and their families who are fighting this disease in Wisconsin. Donate this Giving Tuesday because together we can make a difference, help find a cure and have fun doing it.
