The ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter’s 2015 ALS Care & Research Symposium was held on May 2, 2015 with special guest presenter/keynote speaker— Clive Svendsen, Ph.D. of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Svendsen, is a trailblazer in the field of modeling and treating neurodegenerative disorders such as ALS and Parkinson's Disease using a combination of stem cells and powerful growth factors. Despite recent advances in treatment and therapies, ALS is still fatal. There is no cure. No one diagnosed with ALS has survived.

If you would like to view some of the presentations from the symposium, we encourage you to watch the these videos.

Every year ALSA Wisconsin allocates funds toward national research initiatives. Donate this Giving Tuesday because every dollar toward research benefits all ALS patients — both in our community and across the country.
