The first ALSA Wisconsin event at Lambeau Field was held last year and it was unforgettable. It was held during Family Night and featured a full practice and 11-on-11 sessions with live contact. Family Night at Lambeau is a family focused event with a game-like atmosphere with the use of the video boards, gameday music and a fireworks show at the end of the night. More than 1,000 friends and family of ALSA Wisconsin members came out to the scrimmage. Section 127 of Lambeau Field was red with everyone sporting the “Even in red no one’s untouchable” t-shirts.
ALS is a brutal disease that robs patients of all muscle and body control. Eventually every one diagnosed with ALS loses the ability to walk, eat and even breathe. Despite advances in treatment and therapies, ALS is still fatal. There is no cure. Yet.
Your donations to ALSA Wisconsin directly help ALS patients and their families who are fighting this disease in Wisconsin. Donate this Giving Tuesday because if we all team up, we can defeat ALS.
